Mimi's 10th birthday: A brief rundown of the star Mimi is.

You can never do excellently in raising children, can you? Maybe you've seen a pattern that worked for some others but how do you know it'll work for you?
It's Mimi's birthday today and the only unspoken fear in our minds is,‘ hope we're doing it right '

Mimi has a routine for everyday she wakes up. Her life is pretty simple. Right from the day she knew that it was her right to be loved, she doesn't shy away from seeking attention. She cries at any inconvenience, she demands things and gets them and most importantly, she's a BUG! Arrghhh.
It's very weird that she wakes up before everybody except on school and church days πŸ˜‚ first to wake up during the holidays and weekends and guess why? I was talking about her routine before I deviated. Lol, soon as she wakes, she brushes her teeth and goes straight to the dinning table where her provisions are kept. She usually has a variety of options- my mummy makes sure of it. She has cabin for cabin flakes, cornflakes, bread, golden morn, custard (which she doesn't like so much) and of course, milk, milo and sugar. Sometimes we wake up and find her eating, other times you just find out cos she'll leave her cup or plate on the table. Yep, one bad habit of hers we've been trying to curb. She's a bit better now. From here, Mimi is free by default except someone has errands for her to run. She takes watching TV more important than house chores, what's her own? Nobody even has the mind to involve her in chores cos we're blinded, lol.  She has her own TV seat and no matter how you tell her she's too close, she'll always find her way back. Her favorite cartoon programs are Eleanor of Avalor, Sophia the first, SpongeBob SquarePants, fairly odd parents, the Lion cub, Vampirina, in that order. When there's light in the daytime you know where to find Mimi. In the evenings when our daddy comes home from work, whether there's light or not, you'll find Mimi with him watching ROK... I'm gradually coming to the uniqueness of Mimi's relationship with my daddy.
Other parts of Mimi's daily life would consist of going to school, not observing her siesta when she gets back cos no matter how we've tried, we've finally accepted that Mimi doesn't entertain extra sleep after she wakes in the morning. During this supposed siesta period, you'll find her in the room acting drama alone with her teddy ‘ Fiona', some makeup items, pegs, and any other item fortunate enough to be lying around.
Ouuu, let me add that if you're ever looking for something, ask Mimi. She knows where everything is cos she's everywhere everytime and that's why it's hard to plan a surprise for her in the house cos she'll smell it.  We tried this year though cos she's been grinning like a fowl since. My mummy's personal finder of things. It is also around this time she does her sneaky stuff like taking people's phones to take pictures on Snapchat or make really funny videos.
Soon as Mimi could walk, she started following daddy everywhere casual. Did you ever cry as a child to follow your mummy to the market? Mimi's cry used to be to follow daddy to buy bread or petrol. She's‘ daddy's chongaley festo princess' which he started calling her because of her obsession with festo biscuit. These days she's just ‘ daddy's princess' cos she has begun to obsess over bigger things like yoghurt and shawarma. Hehehehe
I remember how chubby Mimi was as a child and how we couldn't pinpoint who she looked like amongst her sisters. Her face was always changing, it could transform to Agie's or Seember's and you'd be like ah na wetin. Finally, God decided to be generous to Seember, now there's no mistaking who Mimi looks like.
Mimi's impeccable accent came from watching so many cartoons and her inquisitiveness. Anything she sees, she wants to understand. Her brain has always been very active so much so that we had to warn ourselves to be really careful around her when she was younger. Mimi is very emotional, maybe it comes with being the last and having so many women around her and maybe how my mummy attends to all her emotions and just like the rest of us, Mimi gists my mummy about everything happening around her. She cries whenever anybody has to travel, she cries tears of joy whenever anybody returns from a journey. Yesterday, I arrived from my journey and met her waiting at the gate... hei God ☹️❤️
There's so many fond memories and so many fun things about Mimi. Seember found this video of Mimi talking about fake life which has been trending for two days now. So many people have reposted, someone even edited it with background sounds and stickers. She has also gotten an impressive amount of money for her birthday- people appreciating how smart she is.
As a child who lives among adults, Mimi is picking up so much.  We try our best to be really careful around her but God knows there's only so much we can do.
Tee is an indulgent big sister, she spoils Mimi silly and Mimi loves her stoopid. I'm the strict one πŸ˜…, Seember's the intentional one because of course, Mimi cannot fall her hands. Agie is the three of us combined; she's sweet, indulgent, not as intentional as Seember though and in all, very loving and attentive to Mimi.
On a final note, we're proudly introducing Mimi's YouTube Channel which will both educate and entertain 🀭
Thank you all for your good wishes. We'll be posting to update y'all on the channel soon.
Wish Mimi a happy birthday ☺️☺️πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

New blog post: teeny facts ‘or not’ about this writer. Heyyy, long time no see. How are you holding up? I have to say the cold in this place is turning me to a jelly in a jar. Okay, hollup, seems like I’m deviating. Lol, guess that’s one fact or not about me…I love to talk. Let’s move to the basics. Maybe you’re wondering why I had to do this. I know, it’s not like I’m one celebrity or something but I’m your favourite writer (yeah, I heard you say so). Who knows, I may be one in two years from now or less cos why do I have you? Push me push me so I can have lots of money for giveaways πŸ™ƒ My name is Naze Salome Sewuese. Other names are Kristin, and of course, baby πŸ˜…. I’m a female woman (have to be real specific there). I come from a family of seven. My dad is an auditor and my mum is a teacher and a caterer and they both run a poultry house. I’m the second out of five girls. There’s Tee, myself, Seember, Nguamo and Mimi. I have my primary and secondary certificates fro...

Dare to dream- you are more than the figure you see in the mirror.

In one episode of Young Sheldon, Sheldon asked the librarian what her religion was because he was learning about different religions in order to find the one he liked better. She said her religion teaches that when people die they go their own planets but women have to go to their husband's planet, except her because she's single.    In all 23 years of my life, I have battled with people's different beliefs in relation to love, respect and ambitions. It's been a tough and conflicting battle on what to belief as right or not. I have made my own assumptions and research based on what I've been taught intentionally and I believe at this point, I have the right standing.     The argument about God's intention when he took a rib out of man to create woman is one that can put one's brain in a turmoil. Did God mean for a woman to only be a helpmate and not have her own identity? Did he instruct Adam to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth by himself?   ...

MY CAMP SERIES: EPISODE 2 (Wise kind man)

Does it really pay to be patient? Or do we just have to be smart enough to know when to abide by the saying?     As the popular saying goes, “the patient dog eats the fattest bone“. Although nowadays when someone quotes it, another person replies, “patient dog don get ulcer” and everyone begins to laugh. Fetching water this afternoon during our free time before lunch, we had a long line of buckets with people waiting to get water to take their baths, wash their clothes, e.t.c,. Sitting with my first camp friend, we discussed a lot of things in a bid to pass time before our turn. Everybody's been so kind to everybody here, as if we're all eager to make new friends. Anyways, this other pretty girl comes with her buckets and expresses shock as she sees the number of people already waiting. Following the chatty trend, people begin to laugh and give her unnecessary/witty advice. One gist leads to the another and she joins the conversation with I and my friend. Somehow during t...
